A Visit to Remember: Celebrating International Children's Day at City Children's Hospital

Hello everyone! Today, June 1st, 2023, is International Children's Day – a day dedicated to celebrating kids everywhere. It's a day filled with joy, laughter, and a reminder of the importance of cherishing childhood.

I had the privilege of joining a group of volunteers to visit the children at City Children's Hospital here in Ho Chi Minh City. We brought along some small gifts, but more importantly, we brought our smiles and our hearts. It was incredibly touching to spend time with these brave young patients, each facing their own unique challenges.

While the hospital setting can be a bit somber, the spirit of the children was truly inspiring. Their resilience, optimism, and playful energy shone through, reminding us all of the strength and beauty of the human spirit. We shared stories, played games, and did our best to bring a little bit of joy into their day.

Leaving the hospital, I felt a mix of emotions – gratitude for my own health, empathy for the children and their families, and a renewed sense of purpose. It's easy to take our health and happiness for granted, but these experiences serve as a powerful reminder to appreciate the simple things in life.

To all the children at City Children's Hospital, and to children everywhere, I want to wish you a very happy International Children's Day! May your days be filled with laughter, love, and the unwavering support of those who care for you. Keep shining your light, keep dreaming big, and never give up hope.
